Alana has been in bitcoin since 2013 and launched The Agency to bring her wealth of experience to the bitcoin ecosystem to help bitcoin brands achieve competitive success.

Her clients have been innovating in areas of emerging technology and consumer brands. She has worked with content outlets, mobile apps, and social media platforms and has held senior and executive marketing roles within startup, agency, and global brand teams. She has been featured as a thought leader, data privacy advocate, host, and correspondent for outlets such as CNBC, ABC News, ThisWeekIn, Media Bistro, Huffington Post, RWW, Mashable, and more. Alana was co-Managing Director for the Los Angeles chapter of Girls In Tech and has spoken at SXSWi, WordCamp, Social Media Camp, and Social Media Week Los Angeles where she also sat on the advisory board. Alana was also on the advisory board for the Digital Marketing Certification program at Oregon State University, helping shape the curriculum and teaching various courses in digital marketing and new media.
